It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of the passing of Joey Thao. Joey was loved by many around him; his family, friends and colleagues. As the youngest brother of the Thao Family, Joey was born on December 14, 1991 and took his last breath on October 23, 2025. Words cannot express how family and friends are feeling as we mourn the loss of such a joyous man.

Joey was a loving and giving man. He was the first to give and the last to receive. The kind of man that cherished the happiness of others and was the life of the party. In May of 2024, Joey graduated with his Associates degree in Business Administration at Fresno City College. He led by example and transferred to start his Bachelors degree in Accounting at California State University, Fresno.

Joey leaves behind not just his family but his beautiful two sons, Troy (14 y/o) and Dean (13 y/o) who will love and cherish his life forever. As he leaves the world behind let's be reminded not of our sadness and sorrows but how great of a person Joey was to us all. He touched many lives with his love, conversations, smile and contagious laugh.
