On May 25, 2025, we lost Aapahk’kiiyo Douglas George (Gene) Weasel Bear Johnson, a father, a son, a friend, a brother, an uncle, a protector, a warrior, a skilled cabinet maker and craftsman, a cook, a cat rescuer, and a relentless champion of good music and great people.

He was taken from us all too soon and it has left everyone reeling. That being said, his community has come together to ensure that we honour his memory as he would have wanted.

This GoFundMe is to help with his various Celebration of Life arrangements and to settle his estate to ensure his beloved son, Aeron (Beau Ritchy), has no expenses to worry about.
