This event is a celebration of Charlie Mayer's life. On May 1st 2020 our family and their friends suddenly lost their beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and uncle Charlie. We are all far more than heartbroken over his passing, and we want to do something in remembrance of him that he would have liked and would have been his style of gathering. Charlie was a very loving, caring, and thoughtful person to so many people who also loved him. We are collecting donations for this event to support all of the people who are making it happen. Several generous individuals are lending their property, equipment, water, power, and time to make this happen, so I want to compensate them as best we can for their help. Anything we collect in addition to our goal, or that may be left over will be donated to support a wilderness conservation charity. Charlie loved family, friends, and adored nature and wildlife, so we want to honor him in that sense with these donations. This is an exclusive event for friends, family, and loved ones who want to pay their respects. The location is an hour west of Orlando.
