Lime Green Productions and Lisa Jensen are working together to present an evening to celebrate the life of James Aschbacher who left us much too early. James loved life, loved his friends and family, and loved celebrations - this is our chance to honor him and the joy we experienced having him in our lives.

The celebration will take place on Saturday, August 25th from 6 to 9pm at the fabulous Rio Theater. There will be music, stories, photos, yummy nibbles and of course, CHAMPAGNE! We need YOUR help to make this event a reality.

Funds collected will be used to cover the costs of putting on this FREE event which includes staff at the Rio Theatre during the event, food & drink for an estimated 300 guests at the event, event supplies such as glasses & napkins, a videographer and a photographer to capture the event and provide Lisa Jensen with a record of the gathering, poster distribution throughout Santa Cruz County, printing of event programs and takeaway buttons. Many local companies have given us discounted rates for supplies and others have donated goods outright. We're doing all we can to put on a lovely free event, one that James would have loved to attend himself.

After covering the event costs, proceeds will be donated to SPECTRA and Open Studios, two of James's favorite Arts Council programs.
