Celebrating Chanel
On July 5th, Chanel was called home and took her place among the angels in Heaven. The unexpected loss of Chanel has been felt in many hearts from Florida to Maryland to Pennsylvania. Chanel leaves an impression on many that will not be forgotten.
In Chanel’s short time here she was able to touch the lives of so many. Her love for the Lord led her path. She credits Jesus for all her good. He allowed her to teach and mentor women at St. Matthews’s in Alva, Florida, and be a fur-mom to many animals. Chanel loves all animals, especially horses; she loves classical music and she is talented in the violin. Chanel was a devoted lover of God and enjoyed the gospel of Hillsong Worship. She loved her Grammy, and she loved her younger siblings Abi, Noah, and Josh. Chanel is the type of person who finds humor in any situation; always finding a silver lining and being an overall ray of sunshine through her ability to light up faces when she walks into the room. She was the perfect example of how a God led life is the most fulfilling. Today and the following days while we wish she had stayed with us we know she’s with the one she loved the most, Jesus.
Chanel’s time on Earth was cut short, and we all grieve this unprecedented loss. With this immense grief comes the responsibility for us to give her a proper memorial. Her family has beared the burden of losing a daughter, they should not bear the financial burden that comes with it. The Thomasos-Wintle family has found themselves in an unexpected housing situation and needs to find another house to live in, on top of losing their daughter.
We need to take the love we have for Chanel and raise up her family with it. Chanel deserves a proper memorial service and it will take the help of all of us to make it happen.
