Zack Moore saw the world through a lens most of us only get glimpses of. One where every person was worth knowing, every dance floor was sacred ground, and every living thing deserved a second look. He was a fixture of Denver's dance, DIY, and ballroom communities, a photographer whose work captured not just moments but the feeling of each moment inside them. He had a goofy, disarming wit that could turn a stranger into a friend in five minutes flat, and a spirit that made people across the world feel like they mattered to him because they did.

Zack has passed away, and the loss is enormous. But so was he. So we're doing what feels right which is giving his art the room it deserves, and giving everyone who loved him a chance to gather, grieve, and celebrate him together.

This is a community project in every sense. Zack built community wherever he went, and now his community is building something back in a space to hold his work, his memory, and each other. We're organizing a celebration of life built around an exhibition of Zack's photography, much of it never shown publicly before. Nothing here is going anywhere but toward honoring him properly.

If you knew Zack, you knew his eye for beauty in ordinary things, his refusal to see anyone as anything less than good, and his talent for making a room feel lighter just by being in it.
