Update 5/01: With the greatest of thanks to so many generous people in our community, your support has allowed us to cover the costs of Tom's funeral in full. Any further donations will allow Tom's mum Ann some much needed time off work, and reprieve from financial responsibilities, to grieve the loss of her son. We cannot thank you enough for your generosity and kindness, which has brought a beacon of light into these sad times.

The O'Neill Family are devastated to share that their son and brother Tom passed away peacefully on Tuesday 31 December 2024 at the age of 22. It is believed that Tom suffered a medical episode in his sleep.

To support Ann and Tom's siblings in this time of immense grief, we are kindly requesting support from family and friends by means of contributions towards the cost of Tom's funeral.

Though we appreciate the well wishes of all those in our community, we humbly ask that those wanting to support the family consider contributing in this way, in lieu of flowers or meal deliveries.

Tom was a horticulturalist, a marathon runner, an avid gamer and dedicated himself to his disciplined self-improvement. His family are supported by the knowledge that Tom's generosity and kindness will be felt by all who knew him long after his time with us.

He will be sorely missed by his parents, siblings, friends and workmates, all of whom sincerely thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time.
