Celebrating the Life of Talon Nunez

On this Memorial Day 05/31/2021, We have lost a brother, but not only was Sergeant Talon Nunez a brother to us at our correctional facility. He is a Son, Brother, Father, and Fiancé.
Sergeant Talon Nunez is survived by his Fiancé Klarissa Godoy, 3 Daughters Avarie Nunez, Tatum Nunez, and Kennedi Nunez along with siblings Julian Nunez, Tierany Nunez, and Marshall Cordova.
Sergeant Talon Nunez is also survived by his parents Dorinda Sauceda & Anthony Nunez.
Talon was a very special person in everyone's lives, from his family and friends, to his brothers and sisters from Red Rock Correctional Center. Talon Nunez began his career in Corrections in 2018 as an Officer, & was promoted to Correctional Sergeant 2020. Sergeant Nunez, as we called him, was one of the Supervisors that we could call upon & if he did not know the answer, rest assured he would find it for you. Talon was a bright soul to everyone, just his smile can make anyone go from having a bad day to a good day.
Talon had a passion for helping others, for being there for his children, always being there when his siblings called, and had a future planned for the love of his life, his Fiancé. He had a love for riding motorcycles, music, and more. No matter what Talon went through, as he would state, "adapt and overcome". He did just that. Talon just celebrated his 31st birthday in March of this year.
Unfortunately, Talon was taken from us too soon & was called home. He was killed by a hit & run driver that failed to have any remorse for human life. He was just minutes from our facility when he was taken from us. He will be missed more than anyone could ever imagine. Gone but Never Forgotten.
We all love & miss you Talon.
