Steve Hackney — known to so many as “Hack” — left a lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him. As we prepare to honor Hack with a meaningful celebration of life, many friends, family members, and community supporters have reached out asking how they can help. In response, we’ve created this fundraiser to provide a way for those who wish to contribute.

Funds raised will help cover the costs associated with Steve’s celebration of life and related expenses, allowing us to gather, remember, and honor him in a way that truly reflects who he was. In keeping with Hack’s love of athletics and community, any funds remaining after these expenses will go directly to the Hackney Equipment Fund. This fund will support athletes and teams, ensuring Hack’s legacy continues to encourage and uplift others for years to come.
