In the early morning of August 10th, 2025, our world turned upside down when we suddenly lost our big teddy bear, Spiros Tassakos, at just 31 years old. Spiros was the kind of guy you couldn’t help but love—he had “his girls,” he could make anyone smile, and he always had a joke ready to get you laughing.

He was the most stubborn person in the world—in the best (and sometimes most frustrating) way. If Spiros had his mind set on something, there was no changing it. But that stubborn streak was part of what made him so loyal, determined, and ready to stand by the people he cared about.

He was a big boy with an even bigger heart, always ready to help someone out, no questions asked. Whether it was making you laugh until your stomach hurt or showing up when you needed him most, Spiros was there.

We want to give Spiros the kind of send-off he deserves—surrounded by love, laughter, and all the people whose lives he made brighter. This loss was so unexpected, and the costs of funeral arrangements are more than our family can manage alone.
