Celebrating the Life of Sandra Monica Segura

Hello, my name is Crystal Mendoza, the daughter of Sandra Monica.
It is with deep sorrow and sadness that my siblings and I share that our mom has lost her battle with ovarian cancer and ascended to be with our ancestors on 12/20/2023, a day after her 53rd cycle around the sun.

If you were blessed to have known our mom in any capacity within the 54 years of her time here then you know how beyond special she truly was and the strong light of energy that radiated from her. Our mom was the life of the party, always cracking jokes/bringing the laughter, loved music, enjoyed dancing, loved deeply, and was a loyal friend to her comrades. Our mom had the ability to be seen and noticed wherever she went-she always left an impression on individuals and always left people wanting more.

Let me tell you a bit about our mom in case you didn't get to know her; she was a women that was extremely resilient, she did her best to raise 5 children as a single parent, she lived life to her fullest, she knew how to advocate for herself/others, she was willing to try new experiences, she was savvy, she was a dog lover, her favorite flower was the sunflower, she was self determined and at times stubborn. My mom recognized the humanity in people first and accepted individuals for who they were, I think that's why she was loved so deeply by so many. She lived many lives within her one journey- that's what we admired about her. My mom Sandra Monica had the courage to do things that we could only imagine/dream of.

We are all devastated by our mother Sandra’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give our mother the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory.

Our mother is survived by her parents Enrique and Rita Segura, her baby brother Oscar Segura, her five children Madeline, Crystal, Juan Ciro, Reanna, Reina and her 9 beautiful grandbabies. If you knew my mom, then you know she loved dogs which is why I will mention her Muneca and her fur grandchild Malaki.
