Celebrating the Life of Sam Garcia
Donation protected
Our good friend, brother in Christ, Sammy Garcia, passed away suddenly from pulmonary embolism at UK hospital on July 5th 2020, leaving behind his wife Lizzie and 3 children. He was just 46 years old. He would have been 47 on July 8th.
There is much we can say about how much Sam loved and how proud he was of his family. There is also much to say about what a great friend Sam was to everyone he knew. A friend said, "One could see Jesus in Sammy." That is the truth. Sam always welcomed others with a big smile, with a big handshake or a high five, with plenty of kindness and if you are lucky, with delicious authentic homemade arepas. Sam was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.
Time is of the essence. Please help us raise money to support funeral expenses, moving expenses, and to support his wife Lizzie and children.
*Per GoFundMe's requirement to identify campaign creator and fund details: I'm Arthur Pangemanan, a friend of Sammy and Lizzie from Lexington SDA church, I received full permission by Lizzie Garcia to do the campaign and made Lizzie Garcia as the sole recipient / beneficiary of this campaign and the only person who can withdraw the fund. The fund will be spent on funeral expenses, on sending Sammy from Lexington KY to his final resting place in Maryland, burial expenses, moving expenses to move Lizzie and the boys from KY to Maryland, and to help Jason with starting college this fall.
