Dearest friends and family members,
It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that Rosemary Terrasas passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1st, 2022, due to an ongoing battle with cancer. Even though we were anticipating the passing of Rosemary, nothing has prepared us for this immense feeling of loss and sorrow. We know that Rosemary loved you all very much, and we, as a family, appreciate the kindness you have extended to us.
Rosemary was a woman who loved so much and so many. A loving wife, mother, nana, great nana, sister, auntie, godmother, co-worker, teacher, and friend. Rosemary was kind to all she met, her smile radiated across the room, her laugh was infectious, her tamales were delicious, and the pride she carried with her students was something she cherished most. Over a 20 year career Rosemary taught, loved and left a lifelong impact on hundreds of kids. In her final weeks with us, she prayed that one day she could return to school and read once again to her students.
We would love for you to join us at the Vigil Service on Sunday, May 22nd from 5-7pm at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85018. Funeral Services and Mass will be held on Monday, May 23rd at 10:30am at St. Agnes Catholic Church 1954 N. 24th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008. Rosemary’s final resting place will be held at Saint Francis Catholic Cemetery. 2033 N. 48th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008. Reception to follow at St. Agnes Church in Donohue Hall.
Many of you have reached out to us and have asked how you can help us during this time. We really want the services to honor Rosemary by celebrating her life that express her abundantly joyful spirit. If you are able to and comfortable doing so, we would really appreciate any donation, big or small, helping us honor our beloved Rosemary Terrasas.
Thank you again for your support during this time.
With appreciation,
Frank Terrasas
