Panta Daechasith, 59, passed away on February 13, 2025, with her family by her side after a long, courageous battle with bone cancer.
Born on December 20, 1965, in Thailand, she always dreamed of returning home to spend the rest of her life with her realtives. Though life took her on a different path, that dream never changed.
Panta was a loving mother, a friend, and a light to those around her. She carried the weight of the world with a smile, always finding joy in the little things—whether through arts and crafts or creating timeless moments with her daughters, encouraging them to embrace their “influencer moments.” Throughout her life, she has always emphasized the importance of family and helping others. She was always caring and understanding, trying to help out wherever she could with the capacity that she could. She passed her appreciation of life to all her children, and they will now live in her legacy to shine just as bright as she did.
Her faith in Buddhism kept her grounded, giving her strength through years of hardship. Her diagnosis never defined her—she fought with everything she had. She was a very strong spirited woman and she put up a good fight. “I want to keep fighting, but my body is having a hard time,” she once said. Her battle was a long battle, but now she can be at peace. No more medications, no more appointments, no more pain. She can freely go back home and take care of her late mother, and eat all the food that she has ever desired for.
Panta is survived by her loving husband, 3 beloved children, and countless loved ones who will hold her memory close.
In this hard time, please consider donating to help ease the burden of ceremonial costs. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean everything to the family as they honor her life. All proceeds will go directly to the family to pay for the ceremony.
