Aloha Kākou āpau, O Keli’i Ko’u inoa. I am the youngest of 5 keiki, the son of Fannie and Lenny Amantiad. We first would like to mahalo everyone who’s extended their aloha and prayers throughout these last few months while my dad Robert “Lenny” Amantiad fought a years long battle with cancer. On Jan 28 2022, Ke Akua called my dad to come home to be with Him and all our Kūpuna. He was a Vietnam veteran, faced many odds and won. He along with our amazing mama, raised us along with their mo’opuna with so much aloha, sacrifice and passion. My papa not only had us but his extended ohana as well, everyone he came across he touched in the most profound way with a genuine friendship and sincere aloha. On an honest note, he even accepted and befriended people who were difficult for most to accept or get along with. That in itself spoke volumes in how much his presence was a blessing to everyone who knew him. We will be celebrating his life on 2/23/2022 at St Michael’s in Waialua from 9:30am to 11:30am and 2/26/2022 at 66170 Kamehameha Hwy in Hale’iwa. At this time we would like to ask here for kōkua (support) to help with Funeral Service and celebration expenses or if not, your presence is just as appreciated to help us as we celebrate the life of a legend of a man. Mahalo again to EVERYONE for their thoughts, prayers and endless aloha for our ohana. Godbless you all and mahalo. Me ke Aloha pumehana, aloha.
