Celebrating the life of Nick Santos

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Nicanor Jr. Santos.

Nick Santos, a silly, charismatic, and hardworking father, was born on November 13, 1953, and passed away on June 13, 2023, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving daughters, Trish Ton-Tho and Nicole Santos.

Nick was a self-made entrepreneur who never stopped chasing his dreams. His tenacity and strength were evident in everything he did, and these qualities shaped his life's greatest accomplishments. Nick's legacy is one of determination and resolve, inspiring those who were fortunate to know him.

Born in the Philippines, he dreamt of a bright future to continue the Santos legacy. Nick left the Philippines and attended high school in Okinawa, Japan, where his father, Nicanor, was stationed. It was during his high school years that he discovered his love for cooking and photography. Nick spent his 20s in Oahu, Hawaii, where he swam with dolphins and surfed with friends.

Nick had a true entrepreneurial spirit. He was a Denny's Restaurant Manager, a successful car salesman, and eventually, the CEO of the beloved T.G.S. Karaoke Music & Video in San Leandro, California, where he provided the East Bay Filipino community access to their favorite Filipino movies and albums.

He was always committed to providing for both his immediate and extended family. Nick valued security and luxury, and he never failed at sharing his successes and gifts with those he loved. Contributions in his memory will serve as a fitting tribute to a man who touched so many lives with his warmth and kindness.

As we bid farewell to Nick, we are reminded of the valuable lessons he shared with us, and we will carry his spirit with us always. His presence in our lives was a gift, and he will forever be remembered as a man of great character who left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

We seek comfort in knowing that Nick is finally at peace and resting with his parents and brother. Our family is requesting any kind of financial support for Nick's services.
