Hello everyone.

I’m Eileen Glaser, Erica’s sister. By now it’s been shared here that Mike Butts, Erica’s fiancé suddenly passed away Sunday night after a joyous Hanukkah celebration with Erica’s friends and son Josh.

What many of you may not know is that Mike suffered from multiple strokes and hospitalizations earlier this summer and they were still trying to figure out why it happened and how to prevent any further strokes.

Additionally, due to the multiple complications of the strokes, Mike had been unable to work since mid-May and of course wasn’t expecting this, so he and Erica were not prepared to plan a funeral anytime soon as he seemed to be getting better.

The natural reaction is to ask, “what can I do and how can I help?” While prayers, flowers and food are wonderful and soooo appreciated, in talking with her, it’s clear that she has a daunting and unplanned task of finding a resting spot and burying her love, so what would be most helpful to Erica and Mike's kids would be assistance with funeral and burial costs. Therefore, I’ve created this Go Fund Me on their behalf.
