Michael Deshon Willis was a father, a friend, and a lover of God. His life was filled with many accomplishments, including serving in the U.S. Navy, being a devoted father to Clarke, Kobe, Deshon, and Beau, and a brother and friend to many. Michael was smart—a builder of computers, always ready with a joke or a tease, and generous, always there to help his closest friends and family. Even as life threw him curve balls, he did his best to get back up and try again. His sudden passing was a shock to all who knew and loved him, and he will be missed in more ways than one. There are lost and missed moments with his children, laughs to be had, and lives that would have been touched by his presence.

Revelation 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

The funds raised will be used for the celebration of life service and to help cover travel and lodging costs for the family. This loss has come unexpectedly and during the holidays, making it an even more difficult time. As a family, we believe that many hands make for light work, and with any amount of donation, it will be stewarded well and go directly to honoring our beloved father, brother, and friend.
