Celebrating the Life of Jonathan Van't Land
This GoFundMe is in honor of Jonathan Van’t Land, a 19-year-old who was killed in a car accident on June 19, 2023. Jonathan loved photography, engineering, robotics, cars and motorcycles, music, and art. Jonathan played trumpet in his school’s band from fourth grade through his high school graduation, participating in the symphonic band, pep band, jazz band, and pit band for the school’s musical productions. Jonathan also participated in Lego League and First Tech Challenge with his robotics teams. He was a great friend to all and continuously served those around him as often and in as many ways as possible.
Jonathan’s family hopes to honor his memory and compassion through donations to nonprofit organizations in which he was a passionate participant and volunteer. A portion of the donations may be used to cover costs for funerals both in Colorado and Iowa. We pray that Christ may bless you and work in your lives in the ways he worked in Jonathan’s life.
Funds donated will be used in the following ways:
- Donations to Jonathan’s high school music and fine arts programs
- Donations to various First Tech Challenge robotics teams in northern Colorado
- Habitat for Humanity
- Expenses for funeral services and interment
