Celebrating the Life of Jonathan Larson

It's with great sadness that we mourn the unexpected and tragic loss of Jonathan Larson.

I'm organizing a Celebration of Life for those in Chicago that would like to honor Jonathan's memory. There is no set date as of yet, but I am planning on holding it in early January to coincide with his 34th birthday on January 2nd.

Jonathan was an incredible friend who put everyone before himself. He was kind, funny, so insanely smart, and most importantly, loving. He loved his cats Cheschire, Freha, Sammie, and Mika to the ends of the earth. There really aren't words for how much he will be missed by everyone that knew him.

There will be light refreshments provided, and potentially something catered if the goal is met. Bringing something to share is also encouraged.

The first $500 will go towards space rental and light refreshments. Additional funds exceeding $1000 (or whatever else isn't used for the memorial) will be passed along to his family for funeral expenses.
