Celebrating the Life of Jason Perkins

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Jessie, and I’m writing this with a heavy heart.

A few days ago, we lost someone who meant the world to us—Jason Boyd Perkins. He wasn’t just a friend; he was like a brother. Jason died by suicide, and saying that out loud still doesn’t feel real. The pain of losing him is something I can’t put into words.

Jason’s family has chosen to have him cremated and have chosen not to have a service for him here in town. While we will respect their decision, my family and I feel really strongly that he deserves to be remembered and celebrated—for the quiet, funny, loyal, and loving person he truly was.

We want to host a Celebration of Life for Jason, something that reflects who he really was and gives all of us—his friends, chosen family, and the people who loved him—a chance to come together, share stories, and say goodbye in our own way.

Jason was the kind of person everyone could count on. If something was broken—especially a car—he was the first one there, tools in hand, ready to help. But more than that, he would do anything for a friend. He gave his time, his energy, and his heart without ever expecting anything in return.

Now it’s our turn to give back to him, one last time. He deserves a proper goodbye—a moment for all of us to come together, honor his memory, and celebrate the life of someone who gave so much to so many.
We’re hoping to raise as much money as possible to help cover the cost of the venue, food, flowers, and anything else we need to create a beautiful space in his honor. Anything you can give would mean the world to us, and even if you can’t donate, sharing this helps more than you know.

Most importantly—if you’re reading this and you’re struggling, please reach out. You are not alone. We never want anyone else to feel like they have to suffer in silence. Talk to someone. Ask for help. You matter more than you know.

Let’s come together for Jason, celebrate his life, and keep his memory alive with love.

Thank you for the support.
With love,
Jessie Sexton
