Celebrating the Life of James S. Brown (November 23, 1993 - January 3, 2025)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James S. Brown, a beloved son, brother, friend, and leader. James was a shining light to everyone who knew him. His warmth, brilliance, and unwavering dedication to his passions left an indelible mark on all of us.

James was pursuing a Ph.D., a testament to his commitment to science and discovery. He was deeply respected in the academic community and cherished by his fraternity brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., as well as his family and countless friends. His impact reached far beyond his immediate circle, touching lives with his kindness, intellect, and infectious spirit.

As we prepare to celebrate James’s incredible life, we are asking for your support in raising funds to cover his funeral expenses. The service will take place on Wednesday, January 15, at 11 AM EST at House of Hope Atlanta, 4650 Flat Shoals Pkwy, Decatur, GA 30034.
