Hi everyone,
I’ve started this page to help support my mother-in-law, Denise, and the Valenzuela family during this unimaginable time of losing Greg Sr.
Greg was a man full of life and loved by everyone. He was a character and enjoyed life to the fullest! He was kind and would help/talk to anyone he came in contact with. Greg was a family man! His love for Denise was unmeasurable and you could usually hear him gushing over her in every way. He was his kids’- Gregory, Philip, and Katrina- biggest fan. He was so proud of who each of them were and the families they have built. Big Greg’s greatest joy came from his grand babies- Nathan, Kaylee, Isaiah, Keira, and JoseLuis. He LOVED being “Papa” and spending time with them- swimming, fishing, or playing with them with the toys Gregory, Philip, and Katrina use to play with as kids. He would always talk about how much he looked forward to watching them grow up, play sports, and experience life. We KNOW he will still get to see it all from Heaven. Greg was a man of faith and cherished ALL the people he had in his life whether family, friend, or patient.
Greg Sr. spent 42 days in the hospital. He fought so hard trying to overcome covid, pneumonia, and all the challenges that came with it. During his last days, doctors were optimistic and planned to move him out of the ICU. On January 29th, things unexpectedly took a turn for the worst. His body couldn't keep up with his will to fight and he went to be with the Lord later that evening.
Through this heartbreak, the Valenzuela family is coming together to make arrangements to remember and honor their husband, Dad, and Papa. Because this was so unexpected, the family is not financially able to cover everything needed. We are asking for donations to help with the funeral costs, the coming medical bills for his stay in the hospital, and to help Denise as she adjusts to life without Greg. The family has been shown so much love with text messages, calls, and cards already. Please consider helping with a donation! Any amount would be helpful and greatly appreciated.
Thank you and God bless!
