Celebrating the life of Gram

To know her was to love her. She was a devoted mom to Scott and Jim, a proud gram and Gigi, a passionate teacher, a garden lover, and the warmest soul. Her laugh was unforgettable, her hugs unmatched, and her love for her family endless.

One of her greatest joys was spending time outdoors, especially at Kensington Metropark. It was her place — where she walked the trails with her grandkids, fed birds from our hands, and visited the farm center with so much joy in her eyes. It’s where many of our favorite memories live.

To honor her life and give our family a peaceful place to remember her, we’re raising $6,000 to place a memorial bench at Kensington. A spot where her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, and all who loved her can visit, reflect, and feel her love in the nature she adored.

This fundraiser is being organized by her sons and grandchildren, and any contribution or share means the world to us.

We miss her so much already, but we’re comforted knowing her legacy lives on in all of us — and soon, in her favorite place.
