On August 11, 2020, Ezra Sheldon (14) passed away due to injuries sustained in a jet ski accident while on vacation with his family.   For those of us fortunate enough to know the Sheldon family, know first hand how horrific this loss is.  Ezra immediately put a smile on everyone's face, whenever he walked into the room.  His sense of humor, huge heart, and compassion for others will truly be missed.  All of our love goes out to Andrea, Thad, and Marshall as they grieve the unimaginable.

A group of friends from Iowa City (and beyond) wanted to set up this account to raise funds to ensure that Thad, Andrea, and Marshall were able to cover any expenses associated with the funeral, but as well as general expenses as they heal.  Any funds beyond what is needed could be used to establish a legacy scholarhip in honor of Ezra.  We have shared this account with the Sheldons so that they will have direct access to withdrawal funds as needed.
