Celebrating the Life of Ellis Phu
We are heartbroken and saddened to announce the sudden passing of our dearest cousin, Ellis Chi Phu who left us too early on Thursday July 8, 2021. He was the most amazing father, son, brother, uncle and friend you could ever meet. He leaves behind his two beautiful daughters, Alyssa 14 and Mila 10, whom he loved more than life itself.
Ellis will always be remembered for his unconditional love for his family/friends, a fun loving, generous and giving heart and not to mention, being the life of every party. His larger-than-life and contagious personality has impacted all of those around him. Anyone that was fortunate to stumble across Ellis knew that he just shined brighter and differently than anybody else. He always had a way to brighten up anybody’s day by just being around. Ellis would always have the one liners that made everyone burst up with laughter, and if you think you got him, he would always have a comeback locked, loaded and ready to go. Ellis was always ready to dance battle at any event and loved to spit rhymes during a cypher. If you were fortunate enough to meet Ellis and you’re reading this, you can remember how funny he was, how caring he was, and how much he loved everybody. This is what made Ellis Phu such a special person. It didn’t matter where you came from or who you are, Ellis was always just Ellis. The true definition of a “Real One”.
If you knew Ellis and his family, then you know that they are not the ones to ever ask for charity. Ellis was the type of person that always made sure everyone else was taken care of first and never expected anything in return. If you got a chance to hang with Ellis you know he would always make sure you had a good time. The proceeds will go towards his two daughters. Every little bit helps. Ellis, you’ve always looked out for everyone around you, but this one time, let us give back to you. Ellis, please rest easy knowing that your girls will be taken care of.
Ellis, we love you. We miss you. Forever in our hearts. #PGCforlife
