It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved mother, Eleetra Harris, also known to many as Author BLK QWEEN.

My mother was witty, daring, kind, and deeply compassionate. She was the type of person who could change your day, or even your life, with just a few words. Whether someone knew her for years or only spoke to her for five minutes, they felt her warmth, her wisdom, and her authenticity.

She was a courageous woman: a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend, and a writer whose voice and spirit touched so many people. Her legacy lives on through her work, the inspiration she gave others, and the countless lives she impacted.

To me, she was so much more than that. She was my best friend, my confidant, and the person who meant more to me than anyone or anything in this world. Losing her has left my heart unbelievably heavy, but I know how deeply loved she was by so many.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for help with funeral and memorial expenses so we can give my mother the beautiful homegoing she deserves. Any donation, no matter the size, will help us honor her life and memory.
