In Loving Memory of Donnie Lee Causey

November 16, 1962 – May 24, 2025

With broken hearts, we share the passing of our amazing dad, Donnie Lee Causey, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 24th, 2025, in Destin, Florida.

Donnie was truly one of a kind. He was the kind of man who put others before himself, always showing up for the people he loved with a smile and a joke ready. He adored his children and family deeply — and we always knew it. He had a lifelong love for fishing, relaxing by the beach, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Atlanta Falcons and the Braves. The ocean was his happy place, and he found joy in the simple moments: a cold beer, a sunset, and time spent with the people who meant the most to him.

He served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Webdecoder, where he poured his energy and creativity into everything he did. He was a natural leader, known for his sharp mind, strong work ethic, and ability to connect with people. His colleagues respected him not only for his professional accomplishments, but also for his integrity and generosity. He took great pride in his work and made a lasting impact on everyone he worked with.

We are his children, Katie and Josh. I live in Georgia and Josh is in Arizona, and losing our dad so suddenly has been incredibly difficult. We're working together to plan his services and say goodbye in a way that honors the man he was. The funds raised will help cover our travels to Destin, funeral and memorial expenses, moving costs, and give us a little support as we navigate this tough time from different states.

We will be having a Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 22nd at Cagle’s Farm (362 Stringer Rd, Canton, GA 30115) from 2:00–5:00 PM with food, drinks, music, and our best stories to tell, exactly the way he would've wanted!
