On December 31, 2025, our family experienced an unimaginable loss. My beloved brother, DeShawn Addison, passed away due to an unexpected medical emergency. His passing was sudden, and our hearts are still trying to catch up to the reality of life without him. DeShawn was the oldest brother, a pillar of strength, love, and guidance for our family. He had a way of bringing people together—through his laughter, his presence, and the care he showed to everyone around him. To know DeShawn was to feel supported, understood, and loved.

We are raising funds to help release DeShawn’s body to a funeral home, organize a memorial service and repass, and support family members’ travel so we can gather and honor him together. These contributions will allow us to celebrate his life in a way that reflects the love and impact he had on so many people.
