Our beloved mother, Desarie Ruiz, fought courageously against triple-negative breast cancer. Though her battle on earth has ended, she has won the ultimate victory—entering heaven, surrounded by peace and love. Desarie always wanted us to come together, support one another, and lean on each other during difficult times. She wanted us to celebrate life, even in the face of loss, and to rejoice in her entrance into heaven.

We are raising funds to honor her final wishes—to hold a celebration of her life that reflects the love, kindness, and joy she shared with everyone around her.
