Celebrating the life of Cindy Louise Hayes

Hello, I'm Ron Hayes and I have been building a lifetime of memories with my best friend, Cindy Louise Hayes. On March 10th, my precious wife of 32 years, went to live with her savior, Jesus Christ. Cindy had just complete two years valiantly fighting ovarian cancer, which took her health, her strength, and finally, her earthly body, but never her spirit.
Before I met her and fell for her, Cindy raised her two sons, Adam and Anthony as a single mom. She worked full time and with the help of her parents George and Helen, filled their lives with lots of love and memories. When Cindy and I married, we continued to nourish our families by God's love and strong family values. During this time she also was the person in charge of the decision making for her Aunt Irene, who was disabled by polio in her teens.
Cindy always loved inspiration and encouragement and wrote poetry when she was young, even getting her "The Angel and the Hummingbird" published in a poetry book. As she watched over her parents and and sons, she spent many hours a week running one or more of her loved ones to their appointments. After her Dad, George passed away, Cindy devoted over10 years of her life as a caregiver for her mother Helen, who suffered from dementia. During this time, Cindy quit her dream career of copywriting, but began to write inspirational thoughts on Facebook. She developed many relationships around the country and even outside of the US, nurturing conversations with "like minded people."
Cindy began feeling seriously ill at the end of 2018, having just completed her new business plan for an amazing 2019. Her lab results revealed that she was suffering from Stage IV Ovarian cancer. Cindy was adamant about beating the diagnosis, which was very dismal, and devoted herself to do whatever it took for her to attend her younger son Anthony's wedding in November. By God's grace working through His champions at City of Hope, she made the wedding and danced with Anthony at the reception.
After her diagnosis, Cindy continued inspire others by writing about her faith journey. Cindy loved life and invested herself in her family, friends and neighbors. She is missed by all of us who knew and loved her.
Cindy's medical treatments generated unpaid medical copayments in excess of twenty thousand dollars and her funeral expenses exceed fifteen thousand dollars. We, the members of her immediate family are seeking assistance to help us meet these responsibilities.
In lieu of flowers, we will appreciate any contributions made by family and friends which we will use to pay for her final expenses.
