**Update: Alan’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 16 @12:00pm
Southside Community Church
8890 Gerber Road
Sacramento, CA 95828
Reception to immediately follow across the street @ the American Legion Post 604
While everyone was getting ready for a night of Halloween fun, we were rushing to the hospital not knowing how our loved one was. We had received a phone call stating Alan was brought to the hospital by ambulance and we needed to come quickly.
Once we arrived, we were told the unbelievable news that Alan had passed away. How can that be?? Alan was only 45 yrs. old! Our minds were (and still are) full of unanswered questions. The only thing we know for certain; is that we lost a piece of our hearts that evening.
As we come to grips with this unthinkable loss - we also have to make final arrangements for Alan.
On behalf of the family, we have set up this GoFundMe account to help the family through this difficult time as we navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without him. Any donation whatsoever will help ensure we are able to honor Alan's life with a proper Celebration and assist in end of life expenses.
To further the heartache, as most of you know - he shared a house with his parents who are on a fixed income. Without Alan's support, they are faced with the possibility of having to relocate.
Those of you fortunate enough to truly know Alan, know he had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.
Alan was and always will be loved by countless family and friends.
Thank you for your support,
