My name is Les Browne, and I’m asking for help honoring my brother, Al “Butch” Brown Jr.

Butch was many things in his life — a proud Army veteran who served two tours of duty, a music lover, the life of every gathering, a devoted brother, uncle, and loyal friend. But to those of us who knew and loved him best, he was the person you could always count on for laughter, advice, support, and love.

He had a way of bringing people together. Whether it was through music, storytelling, or simply his presence, Butch made people feel welcome and cared for. Losing him has left a hole in our family that words can’t fully describe.

As we try to navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are asking for help to give Butch the celebration of life he deserves.

The emotional weight of losing him, combined with the unexpected financial burden, has been overwhelming for our family.
