Celebrating the Life of Jonathan Starks

Hi my name is Jusolyn Martinez-Mabry, Jonathan was my Godson. On February 2, 2023, he was the victim of violence at the hands of someone he once loved. His mother, Kisha Starks, is devastated. I created this Gofundme page so that she has one less thing to do during these trying times. As the legal case is still ongoing I will not go into that here.

I will say that Jon was a silly little boy with a bright smile. Jon could bring you to your knees with laughter. He was a knockabout teen who found his share of trouble but he was simply looking for his footing in life. When he found that footing, he began thriving. Needless to say, his mom and extended family were overjoyed at the changes they saw in Jon. This tragic event came out of the blue and sent us all for a loop. The family needs assistance as time will be taken from work and things must still be paid.

On another note, any of you who are experiencing domestic abuse please seek guidance from professionals. Don't think "this will never happen to me". We love you all and thank you in advance.
