Diana Emery Lyons was a devoted mother, wife, and friend who brought laughter, warmth, and light to everyone around her. Born on December 4, 1959, Diana lived a life rooted in love, family, and deep connection with those fortunate enough to know her.

The love of her life, Tom Lyons, passed in October 2019. In late December 2025, Diana was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and tragically, the disease accelerated very quickly. Her life was taken far too soon. We are deeply grateful that she was able to spend her final weeks in Lincoln, surrounded by and closer to family who loved her dearly. On Monday, February 16, 2026, around 5pm, Diana passed peacefully with her loving family by her side, including her daughter Alicia, her brother David and his wife Pam, and her beloved cousin Ana Alicia. We find comfort in knowing she is reunited with Tom.

Diana is survived by her daughters, Andrea and Alicia, and by a community of family and friends who loved her deeply. We are sharing this news with heavy hearts and are asking Diana’s loving community to come together to support her immediate family at this time. Contributions will help cover memorial and cremation expenses, travel and logistics for family, medical bills, estate administration, and ongoing support for her immediate family as they adjust to life without her.
