Hi, my name is Nene and I’m raising funds to help cover the funeral expenses for my beloved grandmother, Bernice King.

Bernice was born on April 1, 1952, and she passed away on February 8, 2026. She left behind 3 kids, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many others who love her.

Losing her has been one of the most painful experiences our family has ever faced. She wasn’t just our grandmother, she was our comfort, our strength, and the heart of our family.

My grandma was a truly God-fearing woman and a devoted church evangelist who lived her life rooted in faith. She loved deeply, prayed constantly, and always made sure the people around her felt supported. She had a way of showing up for others, even when she had her own burdens to carry.

She will be remembered for the many roles she filled with love and grace; a caring mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother and for always being there when someone needed her most.

As we prepare to lay her to rest, our family is asking for help with the unexpected funeral and memorial costs. Her homegoing service will be held on February 20, 2026, and we want to honor her in the way she deserves.
