Hello Friends and family, I am fundraising for my father Donald "Don" Hoeffner.

My fundraising is to help with his Celebration of Life Ceremony, the Mortuary costs, the casket, and the flower arrangements.

As most of you know my father had been in the hospital for the past 3 weeks and he has now entered the Kingdom of Heaven.

I would like to take this time to give a brief overview of who my father was and what his legacy leaves behind. My father was a firm believer in God, family, and country, he was always willing to put his family and more specifically his wife before himself. He honored his country by serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War while serving he was exposed to Agent Orange which later caused him to suffer from the disease of Parkinson's and Heart disease. After serving in the Navy, and being ported in Long Beach, CA it wasn't long before he met and fell in love with my mother Anna Flammor now known as Anna Hoeffner. They have successfully been married for 43 years and have 2 boys Jonathan and myself Matthew. As grandparents, they inherited 3 beautiful grandbabies, Zechariah, Ninah, and Avah. Whom they love and cherish very much!

My father leaves behind an extended family of, his mother "Grammy" Virginia, a brother Robert and his wife Marilyn, a sister Christine and her husband Billy, with 4 nieces and 1 nephew. A sister-in-law Karen and her husband Chuck with 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

We do not take for granted the close friends of the family the Loveless, the Lucas, and the Meyer's. A special recognition to my wife's family who has welcomed us so graciously into the family. We thank all of you for your prayers, love, and support through this difficult time.

Update:  My Father Donald Hoeffner is now in heaven with his Father and Uncle.
