My uncle, Errol Anglin—known to many as Junior or Gringo—was a vibrant soul who touched the lives of everyone he met. Born on March 8, 1971, with deep roots in Jamaica, Errol was a beloved son to both his mother and his late father, a proud father to four boys, a cherished brother to eight siblings, a loving uncle, and a cousin and friend to many. He spent his life between America and Jamaica, where his love for music and entertainment made him an unforgettable DJ. His passion for Rastafari faith shaped his outlook on life, and he always found ways to bring joy and positivity to those around him. Errol believed that “Jah guides and protects” and lived his life as a proud member of Jah’s army.
Errol’s passing was sudden and unexpected, leaving our family heartbroken and facing challenges we never anticipated. He died in the hospital, and we are now working to honor his wishes and legacy by bringing him home to Jamaica for his final resting place. We want to celebrate his life with memorial services in both America and Jamaica, so friends and family from all parts of his journey can say their goodbyes and remember the joy he brought into our lives.
We are reaching out to our community for support to help cover the costs and arranging the memorial services. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us honor his memory in the way he truly deserves. Please celebrate his life with us, as he always wanted to bring music and joy to others. Your kindness and support mean the world to our family during this difficult time.
