My mother, Terrill Lee Kale Swiger, was the heart of our family and a friend to everyone she met. She was welcoming, loving, and always ready to help anyone in need. Terrill made sure everyone felt at home, whether it was through a warm meal or her infectious laughter. With her grandchildren, every day was an adventure filled with games and make-believe, and she created memories that will last a lifetime.

Terrill passed away unexpectedly at a nursing facility a few weeks ago. We are still waiting for her cremation, which has been delayed because we haven’t been able to pay the full amount yet. The facility was supposed to handle everything, but now we’re facing new challenges. On top of the cremation costs, I’m struggling to keep up with our house payment, utilities, and car expenses. It’s been overwhelming trying to honor my mother’s wishes while managing these financial burdens.

We want to celebrate Terrill’s life the way she would have wanted—with loud music, good food, and the company of friends and family. Our plan is to host a cookout with a covered dish dinner, a slideshow of her best moments, and plenty of laughter and stories. Personal invitations will go out once we have the funds to make this celebration possible. Any support will help us give Terrill the farewell she deserves and bring our loved ones together to remember her.
