Celebrating Sunshine!

If you have ever met Sunshine, you would know that this woman radiates like noone else. Sunshine and I met 25 years ago.. at a temp job, filing papers. I have loved her from the moment we met. She is one of the most kind, generous, radiant spirits I have known in this lifetime.
Sunshine re-embarked on her most recent educational journey 7 years ago. She made it her goal to not only get her bachelors.. but to continue on to get her MBA all while working full time, volunteering, mentoring youth, being an activist and artist, caring for her family and so much more. Spend a minute with her.. and you will be woven into worlds that connect you and the stranger sitting next to through art, smiles, metaphor, poetry and joy. She is magical.. there is noone else in the world like her.
So.. I reach out to you with a request to help me celebrate and give back to this amazing being. Sunshine recently reached her goal of achieving an MBA. Wahoo!!! She walks the graduation aisle May 8th.. to honor her accomplishments. I want to help support her moving forward into the world with as much ease as possible. Through conversations with her over time, I have noticed that some of the things that might make her life easier to navigate would be a car.. and/or a better computer! I always think of fundraisers as a team effort to make doing good feel easy. Many hands make light work. Sunshine gives so much to this world.. and I want her to feel the world give back to her. I have full faith that she will continue to shine her light so brightly .. and with better tools.. her light will be able to move more freely through the atmosphere into even more hearts.
