Hi, my name is Billie and I’m Shane’s wife. Shane passed away on 2/06/26, less than a year after being diagnosed with End Stage Liver Failure on 2/14/25. Shane worked for Amazon for 9 years, where he made lifelong friendships. Shane worked up until his health wouldn’t allow him to any longer. Shane lost his job due to his inability to work in January. With losing his job, he lost his life insurance, health insurance, and the other benefits that went with it. Shane was the provider for our home where myself, his stepdaughter, and 4 of our grandsons lived. He was a Papa of 10 grandchildren and father of 3 stepchildren. We are foster parents for Kenton County Animal Shelter and have 5 dogs that he absolutely loved. He was a friend that everyone deserved to have—funny, loyal, and would pick your spirits up when you were feeling down. Very empathetic, sympathetic, all-around good guy. He would always go the extra mile to help anyone out. That’s one of the things that made him so special. We loved giving back to our community! That was so special to us, reason being when we needed help in our 18 years of unity, the Lord blessed us with help, and when we finally got over that bump, our mission was to serve.

Well, we’ve reached a time again in our lives that we need help. I’m asking for help with Shane’s cremation and celebration of life and to get caught up as much as possible for bills that piled up while he lost his job.
