In Loving Memory of Samantha Shakti Matthews

With deep love and heavy hearts, we honor the life of Samantha Shakti Matthews — beloved yoga teacher, intuitive healer, life and business partner of Dr. John Grady, and devoted mother of two precious boys, Kiran and Lakota. Sam was a radiant spirit whose life was a continual offering of compassion, presence, and healing to all she met.

For over 30 years, Sam walked the path of the heart, weaving together yoga, mindfulness, and therapeutic healing. She was a highly respected Certified Yoga Therapist, Physiotherapist, intuitive healer, and teacher trainer, known for her deep wisdom, playfulness, and the sacred way she held space for transformation — both on the mat and in life. Her teachings helped thousands find balance, courage, and connection to their truest selves.

Sam’s work at Harbor Health Center was an expression of her soul’s calling — to guide others gently toward wholeness, to help bodies heal and hearts open, and to meet each moment with curiosity and compassion.

Yoga was Sam’s lens for life — a path of spiritual inquiry, healing, and joyful embodiment. She celebrated not just the physical postures, but the lifeforce, breath, and presence that connect us to one another and to the divine within.

To cherish her legacy of light and service, we are gathering contributions that will:

✨ Cover expenses related to the services, celebration of life and handling of Samantha's remains.

✨ Support John Grady and Ensure after analysis of total debt and total assets left for her beloved sons that they are fully supported as they continue to grow with strength, love, and grounding, with their father Bradley and the continued care of John.
