Celebrating Rick Rickman - Supporting His Beautiful Family

Our hearts are heavy, but they're also full of love and laughter when we think of Rick Rickman, who left us on Thursday, August 14th. Anyone who knew Rick knows he wouldn't want us dwelling in sadness - he'd want us remembering his infectious laugh and his ability to lighten any room.

Rick was an amazing critical care nurse who worked in the Legacy ICU, and ED since 2003. He loved music festivals, the Grateful Dead, bowling, gardening, nature and spending time with those he loved. He was truly the glue that held our community together - not with seriousness, but with laughter, warmth, and those legendary 3-breath hugs.

Rick leaves behind his wife Karessa and daughter Amani, and stepson Rhythm, as well as his parents and brothers and sister. As they navigate this incredibly difficult time, let's surround them with the same joy and love that Rick brought to all of us.
