Aloha family and friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my dad, Richard Slavens on January 2, 2026. Our family is deeply heartbroken and still trying to process this loss.

I created this account to help raise funds to cover the unexpected expenses we are now facing, it will help us cover the cost for dads cremation and in due time when we are ready we will have a celebration at a later date.

My dad was a kind, loving soul who touched so many lives. If you were fortunate enough to know him, you know how big his heart was and how freely he gave his love and support to others. He was the best dad we could ever have and the best grandpa to all 12 of his grandchildren we were so blessed to have him in this life, this isn’t goodbye, it’s see you later we love and miss you dearly dad.
