Ramey Caudill was my beloved baby sister, and her loss has left a deep void in our family. She was a devoted mother to Jaylen, age 13, and her daughters Emma, Blair, and Miah. Ramey was diagnosed with leukemia in March 2024, and over the next 16 months, she bravely endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Despite the many challenges, she never lost her sense of humor—her laughter and jokes brought comfort to everyone around her, even during the toughest days. On June 17, she received a bone marrow transplant, and for a brief moment, we hoped she was on the road to recovery. Sadly, the toll of the cancer and treatments was too great, and Ramey passed away on July 14, surrounded by her loved ones.
We are raising funds to cover the funeral and memorial expenses for Ramey. Her Celebration of Life will be held at the Freeman Family Funeral Home on July 22, with a gathering of friends from 5 to 7 pm, followed by the service at 7 pm. Any additional support will go directly to her spouse and children as they navigate this difficult time. Your kindness will help us honor Ramey’s memory and provide some relief to her family as they grieve and adjust to life without her.
Ramey’s ability to make others laugh, even in her darkest moments, is a legacy we will always cherish. Thank you for helping us celebrate her life and support her children as they face the future without their mom.
