I cannot put a dollar amount on the life of Sean Sugarmann. There isn’t enough money in the world to do that for a person like him. And please know that the “million dollars” is coming from my sense of humor. I have had several people approach me about doing a Go Fund Me for him and I have been adamantly against it. Once I admitted to myself that it was due to false pride that I did not want to do this I decided to get out of my own way and ask for help. I was raised by a loving Italian family however feelings of self worth & self esteem were based on your financial success. Over the past several years I have learned that ones self worth comes from the inside out not the outside in. Most of you are aware that Sean & I at one point were very financially successful (many people reaped the benefits in one way or another) ….that is …until we weren’t !! Losing everything was quite devastating. We were slowly rebuilding when Sean became ill again, knocking the wind out of our sails once again. If you can find it in your heart to make a donation so that we might be able to celebrate his life and show your gratitude in a small way we would be extremely grateful….if not that is more than ok as well. Sean celebrated 38 years clean in recovery and so very selflessly helped many others just as so many others helped him…..he was the most humble, kind & caring person I have ever known and I am truly honored to have had the opportunity to share my life with him. We would appreciate it if you would come celebrate Sean Sugarmann with his family and friends @McCabe Funeral Home in Pittsburgh, PA…..details to be announced. Thank you so much for all of your love; prayers & support. Sincerely;
The Sugarmann Family
