Hello, my name is Eric Figeac.

As many of you know, I’ve spent the past 25 years caring for my mother — it was one of the greatest honors and blessings of my life. On Thursday, October 2, 2025, God decided it was time to call her home. Losing her has been absolutely devastating. No one is ever truly ready to say goodbye to someone they love so deeply.

Over the years, caring for my mom became more than just my responsibility — it was my purpose. Earlier this year, in February, I lost my job, and while times were tough, I was grateful to dedicate my time fully to her. But with her passing, I’ve not only lost my mother, I’ve also lost my only source of financial stability.

I’m trying to take things one day at a time — processing the grief, the silence at home, and the uncertainty of what comes next. I trust that God has a plan, and that with His love and guidance, I’ll find my footing again.
