Thank you all so much for simply opening this page to read my family's story.

Almost a week ago, what was suppose to just be a day trip to Georgia to look at a house, my aunt, uncle, and 9 year old cousin were involved in a devastating car accident.

In the middle of this tragedy, my aunt ultimately lost her life. She was and is the most beautiful human inside and out that many have ever encountered, and although the shock of losing her has left our family heartbroken beyond words, it has been so healing reading all the messages and posts about those whose lives she also changed while knowing her.

Right now, my uncle and cousin are still fighting for their lives in different hospitals. My uncle is beginning to show small signs of improvement (PRAISE GOD!), but he has not yet woken up. We are still waiting to learn more about what my cousin Bella's future and recovery may look like. Every day has been filled with uncertainty, prayers, tears, and holding onto hope one moment at a time.

We are starting this fundraiser to help cover the many unexpected expenses that will be approaching quickly. This includes burial and celebration of life expenses for my aunt, transport for Nikki's body between flights, and preserving her body to last until David wakes up.

A celebration of life service will be held at Wellspring Community Church , with the date still to be determined. We are waiting and praying for my uncle, David, to wake up so he can be part of honoring her life and other decisions that is only right for him to make.

More than anything, we are asking for prayer.

Prayer for healing. Prayer for peace. Prayer for strength for our family as we try to navigate something none of us were prepared for.
