Neil was the kind of person who lit up every room he walked into. His presence was impossible to miss, defined by contagious laughter, magnetic energy, and a true entrepreneurial spirit. He was an amazing chef, a go-getter with big ideas, and someone with an even bigger heart. Above all else, Neil loved the ocean, anything that put him near the water brought him pure joy.

On September 11, 2022, Neil was admitted to Hoag Hospital with extreme abdominal pain and was diagnosed with severe pancreatitis. The following day, he suffered a heart attack, during which his heart stopped for approximately 13 minutes. As a result, Neil sustained severe anoxic brain damage.

After fighting bravely for nearly three and a half years, Neil passed away at the age of 32 on January 5, 2026. His parents were by his side in his final moments, and his brother, Wesley, was able to spend meaningful time with him just days before his passing.

Neil’s loss has left an unimaginable hole in the lives of his family and friends. This fundraiser has been created to help cover the costs of Neil’s funeral and celebration of life, so his family can honor him in a way that truly reflects the joy, love, and energy he brought to everyone around him.
