Celebrating Nancy Chen - ADLD Research Fund
Donation protected
With love, we share that Nancy Chen passed Saturday morning peacefully, with her husband Danny and children Jesse and Kirsten by her side.
Nancy was a fierce warrior with a gentle soul and a huge heart. Her spirit lives strongly through the many people she positively impacted.
In lieu of flowers and in celebration of a beautiful life, the family would like to bundle donations in direct support of Dr. Padiath and the UPITT Human Genetics Department's ongoing research on Autosomal Dominant Leukodystrophy (ADLD) -- the rare genetic condition that Nancy fought for 18 years.
We are also greatly relieved to report that Nancy tested negative for COVID and so her brain can be donated to research, just as she always wished.
Please take a moment with these beautiful images below which showcase the immense love of family and community that filled Nancy's life.
